7 little fishes swam out of their humdrum pond to discover new waters, relax in some new surroundings and bask in each other's company. The other fishes were doubtful of their ambitions; they swam in their complacency,
not interested in what the 7 might find.
On their return, the 7 little fishes reported back of a wondrous time with great memories, good times and a sense of adventure satiated!
This was enough to spark the interest of other fishes the following year.
The next year, more fishes wanted to join the original 7 cohorts and see what they were missing out on. The school of fishes was growing and although the original 7 wanted to keep their discovery
small and somewhat exclusive, they embraced more fishes joining their yearly adventure, enjoying the new waters like they had done the year before.
Soon, word spread. The new waters were the talk of the pond. More and more fishes wanted to see what the fuss was all about. The newest fishes had spread the word about the great and wondrous new waters and began recruiting more fishes for the annual swim, in light of the originals desire to keep things exclusive and small.

The following year, the school of fishes had doubled! The original 7 had suddenly found themselves a small group of fish in their own, original yearly discovery. The new waters became a bit crowded; some fishes scales rubbed and some fishes' personalities flared and soon, what had started as a small adventure of specific intentions, became something pushing the edges of the original 7's intended desires for relaxation and camaraderie.
The significance of the new waters was slowly eroding.
By the following year, the buzz of the new waters had reached new magnitudes. All the fish in the pond were buzzing about- fishes were recruiting other fishes in large amounts.
The original 7 found their original intentions swept to the wayside.
Relaxation and camaraderie had taken a backseat to the growing numbers of new fishes, many of whom clamored for
individual intentions and swam against the current of the original 7. The ranks of the original 7 fishes had even been compromised during the influx of new fishes; many lost track of the original concepts of the annual swim to new waters. As the school-size doubled again, what started as an exclusive and specific trip had conformed to the masses and fell into
collective entropy.
The original concept had been lost to the masses.
The original 7 had sold themselves out.Moral of the story:
Keep your private ponds private unless you care to have them "
watered down".
